Just select the SRWZ2 folder (2nd last in the list).
Is there any patch for 6.35 PRO?
i tried a different approach… i used the patch for SRW Z2 Hakai hen and it magically worked 😀

The patch in this guide is actually the Hakai Hen patch 😛

I have the same problem! Got psp 1000 with cfw 6.60 pro b10. When I start the prologue stage and commence a battle … the psp screen turns black and turns off afterwards … any help would be appreciated 🙂

Are you able to downgrade? My PSPGo running 6.20 Pro B5 is able to run the game without the need for any patch.

what firmware did you use ? im using 6.20 pro b9 and its only showing black screen
I got it to work finally. It was a memory stick issue … Used a high speed memory stick and it worked perfectly 🙂

@SRWfan: You can try upgrading to 6.60 (official) and cfw 6.60 Pro B10. That is, if you didn’t flash your psp.

I’m running a 5.50 Prome-4(it’s what “System Info” says). I tried both links(download,copy to psp/game, run it select patch prom then SRW2 then start the game) but my PSP shuts down. help! I really want to play this game

Hi, wonder if you can help me..
The game worked perfectly on my PSP, until the beginning of stage 36.. it basically showed a black screen than automatically shuts off at the beginning of the stage.
Am using CFW6.60 Pro B.. am wondering if this is a mem stick problem? or is it a CFW problem?

You could try a few things:
– Try a different memory stick
– Try doing “Install Data”
– Try a different custom firmware
– Try patching the game ISO?

Re-downloaded UMDGen v2 and it ran properly. But the patched game crashes when I tried to run it..
The data is installed already, and I’ve tried another mem stick.. Tried using the 6.60 fix but it didnt work as well..
am stuck :(.. any other idea? am using PSP Brite 3000 btw

Awesome i tired the second method first=Fail then i tried the first one which worked so far no problems ^w^
I have 5.03 Gen C and the first method works perfectly. Thanks for the advice!
