This week’s Famitsu scans finally reveal the original characters and mecha for the upcoming 3rd Super Robot Wars Z3 Jigoku Hen.
The main mecha is called Gemion and appears to be based off the Gemini Zodiac. It uses a spear as a weapon, and a system called D-Fault (D-Fort?) for defence.
Hibiki Kamishiro
Hibiki is the male Banpresto Original who seems to share similar traits to Heero Yui.
- Voiced by Ryuu Murakami.
- Is a Beast Hunter (a term for Dimension Beast fighting specialists) along with his father.
- His father seems to be a veteran of the military.
- His client is from DEM Corp. which he becomes the Test pilot for Gemion.
- Deep inside, he doesn’t open his heart to no one. Will sacrifice anything to accomplish his mission.
Saijou Suzuna
Suzuna is the original female character. It seems she will also end up piloting the Gemion in some way, probably as a sub-pilot.
- Voiced by Ryouka Yuzuki
- 21 Years old.
- ‘Average’ bust size.
- A College student becoming a trainee/teacher/intern where Hibiki was transfered.
- Pretty popular amongst students.
- Overall kind hearted and likes to take care of others.
- Ends up piloting Geminion due to some incident happening.
Sub Orders
It looks like the Sub Order system returns from Z2, but with the addition of an extra slot per type of Sub Order. You can now set orders for 24 pilots in Z3 (up from 20 in Z2).
Also note that you can see Emma Sheen from Z Gundam in the picture, we may get more returning supporting characters from previous series back.

A lot flashier than the previous Z original starters! Pretty pumped though, it looks cool. Also is it just me or is Hibiki wearing Saiyan armor…
Looks like a cross between a Gespenst and Cybuster. Also, I’m thinking he’s somehow related to Asakim.
wait… there’s tv kamille, movie emma and movie fa. I’m kinda confused… how does that work? i thought similar characters existing in different universes can’t meet… (apologies, i’ve only been able to catch up through z2, so i don’t know how z1 went)

It’s always been movie Camille in the Z series.
PS: kinda liking the new lead characters here. Not gonna lie though, i’m still hoping the other z leads still make an appearance…
