This is my 4th time building this SEED Zaku. I love the base kit, it’s just the Wizard packs that require some significant work. In the case of the Blaze Wizard, there are no seams but there is quite a fair bit of detailing needed to make it look good.
Anyway there aren’t any more unique Wizard packs, so unless I can get myself another copy of the PBandai Green one I’ve pretty much achieved everything I wanted building this quartet. Now to take some pictures of it soon…
Painting
White – Mr Color 306 Grey FS base coat, followed by Mr Color GX Cool White for shading
Black – Mr Color GX Ueno Black base coat, white added for shading effect
Lavender – Purple + Pink + White. White added for shading
Purple – Mr Color purple + tiny bit of pink, white added for shading effect
Red – white primer, preshade using Mr Color Hull Red, followed by coat of Mr Color GX Harmann Red
Blaze Wizard Light Grey – Mr Color 306 Grey FS + tiny bit of purple. White added for shading effect
Blaze Wizard Dark Grey – Mr Color Phantom Grey + bit of purple base coat, white added for shading effect
Internals – Gaianotes Star right Iron
