This months Famitsu magazine makes history as it finally announces the first Super Robot Wars game for PS3, Super Robot Wars Original Generations 2. The game will feature 2D sprites on 3D backgrounds, which Banpresto say will allow for even more dynamic camera shots than ever before!. I can’t tell you how pumped I am for this game right now!

I don’t know why they’re calling it dai-2-jinn when it’s obvious that it’s a sequel!!?? maybe the inspectors aren’t all dead and buried??

Well Dai-2-ji roughly translates to ‘The 2nd’ so yes it does imply sequel. They are probably using the Original Generations brand as opposed to just naming it OG3, since it’s far more recent.
That makes sense I suppose. I’m itching for in-depth info on the new OGs, especially the Ash (Huckibien meets Unicorn Gundam with Granzon’s sword) and the DGG 3 (Not LIOH but looks like LIOH meets Hanzo Hatori with a bad-ass attitude) 😀
