Scenario 2 – Here Comes A New Problem Boy – Intermission

The terrorists are none other than the Firebug unit from Saisei-hen, along with some Branch robo guys.

SR Point – Defeat 5 enemies within 3 turns.

Here’s the starting map. Mithril are at the south, while Tetsujin, Ox and Genion are at the west.

End of turn 1. A lucky crit from Mao and a Sousuke Kurz double team net me 2 kills.

Tetsujin picks one off bringing the count to 3, while Hibiki heads futher north

Meanwhile Mithril move to deal with the Firebugs at the south/east, getting another kill.

End of turn 2.

	Hibiki
	You call that a knife?

	Hibiki
	This is a knife!

Hibiki one shots the last fatty with the Accel Glaive…

At this point more Firebugs show up at the West, near the school.

But the S.M.S show up at northwest for backup, I guess Mithril hired them or something?

Mao and the Axio have a nice knife fight, in which she snatches his Grilled Trident From.

Meanwhile the enemies pile onto the Ox and Genion, giving out a few kills to them.

Only 5 enemies remain, with a few having suicided themselves against Genion and the Ox in the enemy phase.

	Well…I’m not about to lose to Mithril’s sniper now… さて。。。ミスリルのスナイパーに負けてはないられないな。。。
	Michel
	He’s too busy showing off his skills to greet us! ご挨拶代わりにスキル小隊の名スナイパーの腕をご披露するとしますか！

Luckily at 68% hit rate, Michel can follow up, otherwise he’d be going home on the walk of shame.

	Kurz
	That blue Valkyrie seems like quite the sniper. あの青いバルキリー。。。なかなか腕のすないぱーのようだな
	Mao
	It’s not rare that snipers compliment each other y’know… 珍しいじゃないのさ、 あんたが自分以外のスナイパーを褒めるのは
	Kurz
	Maybe…but that shooting…could he be the pilot of Celestial Being’s Green Gundam? もしかすると、あいつの腕 ソレスタルビーイングの緑ガンダム級かも知れねえ。。。
	Kurz

Tetsujin finishes what Black Ox cannot.

Geez who is this mystery guy? Maybe it’s Ozma, being MIA for the entire of Saisei-hen can do weird things to you.

As all the enemies are defeated, Hibiki tries to run off…

	Hey, kid. We’ve got orders to capture you, but since you helped us out I don’t want to make this too rough. 黒いわね. 一緒に戦った人間相手に手荒な真似はしたくないけど。 あんたを捕獲しろってのもあたし達の任務に含まれてるの
	Kurz
	Whoah hold it right there kiddo! Any funny moves and I just rip out one of these thrusters you got here! 動かない方がいいぜ あんたがおかしな動きを見せれば その機体のスラスター部をぶち抜く

	And if that doesn’t stop you, I’ve got the okay to shoot you down! それでも止まらなきゃ もったエグつない所を撃たせてもらうぜ

	I guess this how the professionals do it huh… これがプロフェッショナルの技術。。。か。。

Jeffrey radios in and tells the gang to come aboard the Macross Quarter so can they talk further.

	Kyoko
	They vanished again…
	Kaname
	Just like yesterday, What the hell is going on?!!

In the briefing room, Mao introduces herself to Jeffrey and Shōtarō. I didn’t bother translating this part, but it seems that Mithril and S.M.S have entered into an ongoing arrangement and will continue doing joint operations.

The S.M.S and Mithril squads introduce themselves to each other, while patiently waiting for the pilot of Genion to emerge. Finally Hibiki shows himself, and both Hibiki and Sousuke are surprised to see each other. Things get pretty heated as Hibiki refuses to answer anything about Genion, but then AG (the little robot) shows up to explain a bit about it and the DEM Corp.

The Genion was sent through the Dimension Quake, and consequently selected Hibiki as it’s pilot. However AG needs more data, and can’t return to it’s dimension for now. Hibiki agrees to continue piloting the Genion, however asks for Jeffrey to accept him into the S.M.S for the time being. Sousuke is ordered to keep an eye on him at school, since they’re classmates.
