Stage 29 – Signal for the Counterattack

I start with some pilot upgrading, since now a whole bunch of people have 300 PP.

Stage 29: Signal for the Counterattack

With only14 units to deploy, it’s getting pretty hard to pick who goes and doesn’t.

5 turns to destroy everything except the Great Axio.

Not that I’m really that worried, like 80% of my squad has Continuous Action now.

Turn 1 is spent moving up, although I did manage to sneak in 1 kill.

By turn 2 all except the back line of boss DAMONs have moved forward.

End of turn 2.

After a few more kills in enemy phase 2, Gaiou tells Aim to send out the Arksabers to deal with ZEXIS…

Uhh…

Poor guy. It’s like his job to get shot down.

CROWWWWW

I can’t tell you how much I hate it when he gets blown up.  Crow happens to be my battery for cheap 100% hit seishin.

Big O finally manages to escape from the Great Axion.

Turn 3.  It’s actually getting quite messy.  Getter got blown up in the enemy phase after taking too many hits 🙁

After a few more kills…

Zechs and Suzaku decide to show up.

Meanwhile I pummel on Cheval with a whole bunch of guys.

End of turn 3. I had to activate Godmars and Dancouga Nova, and I’ve also managed to damage everything down to around 50%.

Turn 4.  Mazinger Z gets pummeled pretty bad, Margurette goes for Virtue and blows it up.

Godmars takes down Cheval…

And the Big O downs Margueritte.

End of turn 4.  I’ve defeated all the bosses except for the Dino DAMON, and 5 DMs.

Turn 5.

Simon gives good head.

It’s been several missions since I got Camille to 99, but I haven’t really used him yet.  So lets give him a shot. With Soul.

Wow.

SR Point. GET.

That brings the stage to an end, but on a side note, you can defeat the Great Axio for an S Adapter.  It casts Great Wall each turn and has high HP, so unless you’re on a 2nd playthrough it’s pretty hard to kill him on time.
