I’ve had the Collector’s Edition of Arkham City lying around for weeks now, but with all the Uncharted 3 I’ve been playing, it’s been hard to find the time to do the unboxing for it.

I picked up Forza 4 Collector’s Edition 2 weeks ago, but I haven’t had a chance to look into it until now. Here’s a very brief look at what’s inside.
Limited Collector’s Edition includes:

Square Enix have announced that there will be 2 types of Collector’s Editions for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2. Several retailers are also offering different bonuses for pre-ordering with them. Details after the jump.
Us gamers living in the land down under are often ridiculed for our exorbitant prices on games and retarded classification system, but occasionally we get a cookie or two. In this case, a rather sweet Sonic Generations Collector’s Edition, which is exclusive to Europe and Australia. And it may just be enough for you to forgive Sonic for his previous crimes.

Thanks to a pricing error on JB Hifi’s site, I managed to acquire this Hero Edition of Infamous 2 at the cheep cheap price of $120. The package includes:

Uncharted 3 collector’s editions have been fleshed out alot more lately, with details finally being announced.
In the US, there is only one Collector’s Edition, which includes:
- Exclusive Collector’s Edition Steelbook
- Wearable Replicas of Nathan Drake’s Buckle and Ring with Necklace Strap
- Nathan Drake statue by SlideShow Collectables
- Traveling Chest Packaging
In addition, preordering from each store also gives different Kickback bonuses:
Amazon.com – Carpet Bomb Kickback
Allows you to “send out three grenades with a single throw to blanket your opponent – or take out a group of opponents – with multiple explosions.”
Amazon.com – Clip Size Mod for Para 9 or G-MAL
Allows you to increase the size of the bullet clip for your weapon of choice and “spend more time shooting your opponents before having to reload.”

In Australia, UC3 will come in 2 flavours, which is the Collector’s Edition and the ‘Explorer’s Edition’. The Explorer’s Edition is bascially the US’ Collector’s Edition (at double the price -_-), while the Collector’s Edition is basically just a Steelbook. Both of them include further content:
- Multiplayer skin and weapon: ‘London Drake and Pirate AK-47′: Customise the appearance of both your avatar and your weapon.
- Multiplayer ‘Upper Cut Taunt’: Allows you to give an upper-cut gesture for increased self-expression and bragging rights when playing online.
- ‘Cash Multiplier’: Earn in-game cash much faster when playing online.

Anyway, I have the Explorer’s edition on order, so look forward to the unboxing come November.

After the failure which was Fable II Limited Edition, be thankful that this Limited Collector’s Edition actually exists! But hey, it’s Peter Molyneux, so I’m not suprised it takes him a few games to actually deliver on his promises

Kicking off what is a busy 2 weeks of unboxings is the Fallout New Vegas Collector’s Edition.
I actually almost missed out on this Collector’s Edition due to my lazyness in preordering. I instead had to order it from Gamestop USA, which ended up at around $115 AUD due to the strength of the Aussie dollar, $35 cheaper than what it was here locally.
Collector’s Edition includes:
- “Lucky 7” poker chips. Each of the seven poker chips was designed to represent chips from the major casinos found on the New Vegas strip and throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
- A fully customised Fallout: New Vegas deck of cards. Each card in the pack has been uniquely illustrated to depict characters and factions found within the game. Use the cards to play poker, blackjack or Caravan, an original card game that was created by Obsidian especially for New Vegas!
- A recreation of the game’s highly coveted “Lucky 38” platinum chip.
- A hard cover graphic novel “All Roads”, that tells the story of some of the characters and events that lead up to Fallout: New Vegas. “All Roads” was written by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.
