Stage 6 – Distant Peace

I dump my extra cash onto some upgrades for Nova Eagle and Exia.  The upgrades on Eagle carry onto Dancouga.

In the pre-stage dialogue, some dialogue between Setsuna and Lockon mentions that Exia has now been equipped with the Seven Swords.

Stage 6 話:遠い平和へ – Distant Peace

From a quick glance of the enemies, it looks like yet another Gundam 00 mission.   There are 14 enemies at the start of the stage, consisting of Tierens, Genocidrons and Axios. Again the SR Point is to kill all enemies within 3 turns.

 

I move all my forces forward, letting Aoi get the only kill this turn (since I want the morale to transform into Dancouga Nova).

 

Here’s what it looks like at the end of my turn 1:

 

What I didn’t realise was that there are actually 2 factions on the map.  They start ripping into each other, meaning less stuff for me to kill :S

 

Start of turn 2.

 

Kyrios attacks one of the Genocidrons and gets hit at 25% 🙁  These guys have quite a fair bit of HP though, at  10,000.

 

I’m making my way down towards the other side of the map, but I’m actually starting to worry about the SR Point, since I haven’t even touched the other Genocidron at the bottom yet.  End of my turn.

 

The factions go at it again.   Another 2 units get destroyed while the rest kinda get whittled down to red life.

 

One of the Tierens actually manages to walk up to Virtue.  I was expecting a melee, but he does a piss weak machine gun attack instead.

The weakened Genocidron decides for a long range attack and attacks Lockon.

Lockon shows him why he’s callled Lockon Stratos.

 

Turn 3, and suprisingly, only 3 enemy units remain.  There’s still that other Genocidron though.

 

I wail on him with a bunch of units and he gets chopped in 1/2 by Setsuna.  I also get the SR point.

 

But wait, it’s not over!  Sergei Smirnov and a whole bunch of Tierens show up on the left side of the map.

 

Anyway Aoi now has 130 morale and it’s time for DAANCOUGAAA

 

WTF??  You only get 5 turns?

.

Since I have to move all my guys over to the right side of the map, we fast forward to turn 6 now.  It’s so relaxing without having to worry about the SR Point

 

Oh god I hate this one guy.   He dodged like 4 60%+ in a row.  Actually, I hate all of these guys, they just have magic dodge rates.

 

I decide to murderize the dodgy guy with DANKUUUKEN

 

After I kill this Tieren with Setsuna, I’m surprised to see he gets another turn.  I guess he has the Continuous Attack skill by default. It lets you have another turn if you get a kill when you have more than 120 morale.

 

Here’s the end of my turn 6.  My guys are starting to close on on Sergei, but they still have to get through the wall of baddies first.

 

OMG my Exia gets hit twice at 25% and gets blown up!  This calls for a rage reset back to my save at the end of turn 6.

 

Turn 7, and finally Sergei decides to move up.

 

Oh wow he has 18,000 HP :O

 

I also finally manage to get Dankuuho dynamic kill.  It’s kinda lame, as you just see the enemy kinda ‘melt’ away :S

 

These long range Tierens were a real pain, even getting Setsuna down to red life.   But when you get up close….

 

Turn 8.  Only Sergei and one of his lackeys remain.

 

I finally get a chance to use Virtue’s Blast mode bazooka.  He totally blows him away, with a sexy close up as a dynamic kill.

 

And for the grand finale…

You wanna know how I got these scars?

 

No, but I know how you got these!

With Sergei sent packing, the stage is over.
