Stage 3 – The Meteor That Calls For War

Before the stage starts, we get confronted by a route split.

The top choice is to head to Japan, where you’ll recruit Dai Guard and Mazinger Z.  The bottom choice is to go Celestial Being.  Which is the option we’re taking.

Stage 3:戦火を呼ぶ流星 – The Meteor That Calls For War

At the start of the stage, Crow’s transport is pursued and shot down by OZ forces (there are some VOTOMs baddies there as well).

1v8…well I guess there’s only 1 thing to do…

…turn on Concentrate and charge straight in. I attack one of the Leo’s, which I manage to take down by 1/2.

Now it’s the enemy turn, and the baddies start swarming on Crow.  Unfortunately even with the low chance of getting hit,  the Blasta gets shot, losing 30% :S

I repay the favor by destroying his face.

After defeating this guy, Zech shows up with a bunch of Leo’s.  It’s looking pretty grim…

Why Heero thar.

He blows away all the Leos but Zechs.

Zechs ain’t impressed.

After the little exchange between Heero and Zechs,  Graham and the Union show up, looking for CB…

…who all show up on cue.  Lockon and Setsuna move up to meet with the Union, while Tieria and Allelujah move towards the starting OZ forces in the lower right corner.

All of this is happening and we’re still in Turn 1 enemy phase.  All of the original enemies are still attacking Crow, and he destroys pretty much all the VOTOMs mechs while damaging the others.  Meanwhile the Union forces move towards Setsuna/Lockon.

It’s finally Turn 2,  and heres what the map looks like.

I start by getting Heero to give Zechs a beam saber slash to the face.  Thankfully he hits him this time.  Zechs has like 8000 health though, and the attack only did about 1/3 of his life.

I also use Blasta’s sniper attack to hit Zechs.   It crits him for about 4800 and leaves him with a sliver of health.

I tramsform Kyrios into the fighter mode and send him over to help out Crow.  He takes out one guy by shooting alot of missles at him.

Virtue is too damn slow, so it can’t hit anything from where he lands.

Meanwhile, Setsuna is totally raping the Union grunts with his GN Sword attack in the enemy turn 2.   Unfortunately, one of them gets lucky and manages to hit him, taking him down to half life.

Graham wants to dance…this confuses Setuna, who gets sliced up by Graham instead.  Game over.  Ugh.  After a rage reset, I redo the attack, and this time he manages to dodge Graham’s attack.

Oh, yeah,  Heero finally nails Zechs in a counteratttack.

Turn 3…AND TIME FOR REVENGE!!

I end the mission by mopping up the rest of the grunts with Virtue and Kyrios.

And SR Point GET!

On to stage 4…and time to spend that money on upgrades!
