Stage 48 – Daybreak’s Bell

第48話:夜明けの鐘

Stage 48: Daybreak’s Bell

Time for the Gundam 00 finale!

The conditions, clear the map by turn 4 player phase for the SR Point. Also none of the Meisters can die, or it’s game over.

It’s a rather small and crowded map, with plenty of GN X and OZ forces to destroy.

I power up DanNova and rush it in. Aoi finally learns Raid at 50.

You ain’t got anything on me kid.

End of turn 1. DanNova managed to rush all the way to the back line.

DanNova takes alot of hits from the HRL during the enemy turn, but luckily I have Iron Wall on.

Soma goes down during a counterattack.

Which causes an event. Sergei covers for her and retreats in her place. This causes Soma to cast Invincible and Iron Wall on herself.

Look at me I’m teh Deathscythe!11!

Turn 2.GN-Xes have support defend, which is really fucking annoying. There’s a huge clump on them on the left.

Aquarion takes out Noin and the left side.

Tieria takes out Suzaku.

End of turn 2.

Soma will go for Allelujah if he’s near, causing an event.

Allelujah and Hallelujah finally decide to set aside their differences…

They combine forces….BY FOLDING UP HIS FRINGE.

Turn 3.

I haven’t seen Daiguards Ultimate attack yet, so I test it out on that weird guy from Code Geass.

Setsuna takes out Patrick.

Allelujah takes out Soma for real this time. He has a special version of his TRANS-AM attack when he’s in super soldier mode (you’ll see later).

Unfortunately defeating Soma makes Allelujah revert back to normal, so that’s the last time we’ll ever see it 🙁

Finally, Zechs gets a drill to the head and I get the SR Point.

Ali shows up, who goes and attacks the Ptolemy, causing it to retreat.

The CB crew chase after it.

The mission now continues on a seperate map. I hope you upgraded the CB Gundams, because there’s a alot of guys to kill. Thankfully you get all EN, HP, SP reset and the Gundams start at max morale. The Ptolemy can’t move anywhere though.

I’m gonna wait this one out.

Ali always goes for Setsuna. Too bad he can’t hit him.

Turn 2. Completely surrounded.

Which means it’s a good time for GN-Arms MAP attack.

FUB Exia with Setsuna’s ACE bonus (1.5x damage to GN drive Gundams) means he can one shot GN-Xes.

End of turn 2.

Turn 3. Ptolemy starts taking some damage, so I better finish this pretty soon.

These GN-X have that annoying support defend, so I do another Hot-Blooded GN-Arms to damage them.

They don’t quite die yet, so I use cast Move Again on Lockon and get him to support attack Kyrios so he can take some of these guys out.

Good time for Iron Wall.

End of turn 3. Just a few guys and Ali remaining.

On turn 4, and event happens.

Don’t call my name, Alejandro

And the rest of ZEXIS show up.

Sheesh well that’s hardly a fair fight.

Alejandro’s Alvaaatore has like 90K HP.

Since it’s only Ali and Alejandro left, I decide to goof off a bit. Here’s Ali getting smashed with Giga Drill Special.

Defeating Ali causes an event.

Lockon decides to avenge his family…it ends in a double K.O!

End of turn 5. Only Alejandro remains.

Turn 8. Wait for it….

FOR LOCKONNNNN

Blowing up Alejandro causes an event. He tries to run, but Lockon shows up.

He snipes him, but he still manages to get away, with Setsuna in tow.

Lockon now mortally wounded, drifts into space 🙁

He thinks he might’ve gotten away, but Setsuna catches up and rips him a new one.

Destroying the mobile armour reveals a mobile suit though…

You ready to go…ONE ON ONE WITH THE GREAT ONE?!?

Move again, Soul.

FOR LOCKONNN

Not only do I proceed to one shot the guy with TRANS-AM, there’s another game event where Setsuna kills him AGAIN with the same move hahaha

The rest of ZEXIS appear, along with the Dynames, adrift…

Back on the Ptolemy, everyone mourns the loss of Lockon.

There’s no time to rest though, with the Imperium on the move.

And the game refunds the money spent on Dynames. 🙁 🙁 🙁

But since we have Lockon aced previously, we get a Haro item. And that brings this rather sad but epic stage to a close.

Ahh shit. I went Japan route so I pumped up all my Supers and completely ignored the Gundam 00 mechs. My personal apathy for the show itself didn’t help either. As a result I make it to the second round of map 2 and Setsuna or Lockon bite it.

Do I simply have no other choice but to level grind the hell out of them, or use the game over trick on map 1 till I have enought funds to FUB all the Gundam Meisters? I can’t upgrade them at the start of map 2, hence my problem. Setsuna’s in the mid-fifties but Exia has NO upgrades, and he still goes down like a bag of hammers. Any advice?

    @Matt Wells
I was going to say you could hide in the asteroids then I remembered that the Ptolemy can’t move.

You surely don’t need to FUB the Gundams, and I’m pretty sure you can do the stage without upgrades. Are you able to restart the stage? I’m pretty sure a couple of mobiliy/repair/armor items on Celestial Being Gundams would be enough to clear the stage.

Done it! All I did was spend the first two turns concentrating on downing Ali. The minute he died my ZEXIS reinforcements showed up and wiped out the grunts littering the map. Grinding Setsuna till he leared Soul really helped out though, as did repair levelling the Ptolemy pilots. Thanks for the tips!

I just want to ask how many attacks does Alvatore have? (the Mobile armor) oh and do you have an all pilot/mecha cw cheat for hakai-hen?
