Ugh this route split is really pissing me off. But thankfully this is the last mission before the team regroups, so I’m looking forward to getting this done.
Heero and Setsuna really hit it off.
第18话：交差する明日
Stage 18: Crossing Over Into Tomorrow
The mission begins with Marina Ismail and Relena getting captured by the WLF terrorists.
You get 10 units to deploy and I my usual crew. You also get Dancouga Nova automatically.
You get till the end of your turn 2 to do all these guys in for the SR Point.
By the end of Turn 1, I’ve managed to get all my guys into battle. I used accelerate on Getter-2 and sent him straight for the Genocidron at the top.
All the enemies decide Chirico and Karen high priority targets for some reason, but they also happen to be impossible to hit. They pretty much decimate the entire enemy forces.
Turn 2. Only 5 enemies remain.
Easy SR Point.
After destroying the initial enemies, there’s a short event where Heero and Setsuna rescue the girls.
Crow also goes with Heero and Setsuna and runs into the guy (Aim) from the previous mission.
Of course we couldn’t have a stage without a bunch of Dimensional Beasts showing up.
Invaders? You said it bro.
Setsuna/Heero/Crow finally show up as well, but now there are 8 invaders as well as 7 Dimensional Beasts.
End of Turn 2.
On turn 3 an event occurs.
A couple more invaders show up, but the fake Dancouga shows up. Is it an enemy?
R-Daigun. Aoi calls it the Red Dancouga. And yes it is.
Here’s what turn 3 looks like.
End of turn 3. Just 1 invader, 3 Dimensional Beasts and the Daigun left.
Turn 4.
The fake Dancouga goes down and you get an A Adapter for your troubles.
Uhh..killing it just revives it :S
By the end of the turn, I’ve cleared all but the Daigun and the last Rhino, which I have down to red life.
Finally when all the other enemies are dead, Aoi decides she wants answers from the Red Dancouga.
Enough with fakes and remakes, the ORIGINAL Dancouga shows up!

And then he decides to piss off. Way to get my hopes up. With that the mission ends.

I suppose you could land all your guys and farm the R-Daigun to ACE all your guys if you were patient enough.
