“Relinquish your pain unto me!”
I love me some KOS-MOS. Apart from the 1/4 resin kit, this version by Alter is pretty much the definitive version of KOS-MOS you can get. Her flowing hair and dynamic pose exudes grace in contrast to the massive gatling that comes pre-attached to her right arm.
The painting and sculpt of this figure is near perfect, right down to the legible “KOS-MOS” decals on her visor and hips. The overall design is a bit more fan-servicey than the V1, but the “ears” and various shoulder/armguards do make her silhouette a bit more interesting overall.
It does look like she’s leaning a bit too far forward at times, but the base does a good job of keeping her in place. I do feel that she kinda is at risk of warping over time especially since the gatling gun is so big, but I can’t say since mine has been kept in the box since I purchased her.
Definitely a must-own for Xenosaga fans.
