Uncharted 3 1.13 Patch Notes part 1

Naughty Dog have just released the first part of the patch notes for the upcoming Uncharted 3 1.13 patch, which they claim will be ‘Godzilla’ sized in terms of content. This first batch of patch notes includes some gameplay fixes.

  • Increased recoil has been added to the G-MAL
  • Deathmatch will now appear in round 5 instead of round 3 in Team Objective game modes
  • Quitting out of Co-op will no longer count as a Competitive loss when signing-out/disconnecting
  • Lab games no longer count towards the Leaderboard
  • Death from Above medal now requires the player to be at least 2 meters off the ground
  • Players can earn more than 1 “Here, Hold This Medal” in a match
  • A collection of trophies have been added for each DLC pack available
  • The TAU Sniper Pistol has been tuned so the rate of fire is up 30% and its starting ammo is now 8 not 12
  • The M9 blindfire accuracy has been reduced by 10% efficiency

On July 30th, we’ll have some information about our Make.Believe Uncharted Audition winner, Jeremy Gallant. Be on the lookout for that and more patch 1.13 news here very Soon™

Patch 1.13 will contain an exciting new system, fresh DLC, and gameplay fixes.

The blog states that the patch will be released around 14th August, and that there will be more patch notes to come. We already know from previous blog posts that 1.13 will have some improvements to the customization system, hopefully the “exciting new system” they mention is something different.

To get you hyped for the upcoming patch, ND have released some remixes of various powerplay music on their SoundCloud page.

Apart from that, I’ll comment on the weapon changes. I wasn’t expecting another G-MAL nerf, but I’ll take it, since the gun is still kinda ridiculously easy to use. The M9 blindfire nerf is also a welcome change, which makes the AK47 a more appealing choice to players. And finally it’s surprising to see the Tau Sniper gets a weird buff/nerf, I can’t say if that’s a fair trade without trying out the 30% boost in firing speed first.
