After the failure which was Fable II Limited Edition, be thankful that this Limited Collector’s Edition actually exists! But hey, it’s Peter Molyneux, so I’m not suprised it takes him a few games to actually deliver on his promises

Kicking off what is a busy 2 weeks of unboxings is the Fallout New Vegas Collector’s Edition.
I actually almost missed out on this Collector’s Edition due to my lazyness in preordering. I instead had to order it from Gamestop USA, which ended up at around $115 AUD due to the strength of the Aussie dollar, $35 cheaper than what it was here locally.
Collector’s Edition includes:
- “Lucky 7” poker chips. Each of the seven poker chips was designed to represent chips from the major casinos found on the New Vegas strip and throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
- A fully customised Fallout: New Vegas deck of cards. Each card in the pack has been uniquely illustrated to depict characters and factions found within the game. Use the cards to play poker, blackjack or Caravan, an original card game that was created by Obsidian especially for New Vegas!
- A recreation of the game’s highly coveted “Lucky 38” platinum chip.
- A hard cover graphic novel “All Roads”, that tells the story of some of the characters and events that lead up to Fallout: New Vegas. “All Roads” was written by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.
- ‘The Making of Fallout: New Vegas’ DVD. This documentary DVD will contain exclusive video content, including interviews with the developers in which they take you from concept to creation and discuss topics such as story, setting, legacy of the Fallout franchise and more.

One of the MG announcements at the Plamo Hobby show is the MG ReZEL commander type, which comes with extra wings and a beam launcher. Price is 5,250Y, and slated for January 2011 release.

The G700 is the next evolution in Logitech’s gaming mice, superceeding the G500. I took the opportunity to purchase one of these as my old MX1000 died after a good 3 years of use. I’ve also previously owned a G15 (the original G15, not the redesigned watered down one), until it was sadly destroyed by spilt drink, and I figured a mouse which had G series macro capability would be a good choice for me.
