October Loots

It’s been a pretty good month for games.

I managed to pull off some more fancy trade shenanigans and managed to get more credit/games for ridiculously cheap.   First I went to EB’s preowned sale and got myself some cheap games.  Total cost: $54

Next I went to JB and traded it in for a copy of Dirt 2.  I then returned it later for it’s value of $99.   Now at this point I was lucky and had a friend who was about to spend some money at JB…I quickly struck up a deal and exchanged my credit for real dollars.

Now I had $99 up from $54.  I bought 6 cheap games at Cashies for a total of $74 and traded those in for a copy of Dirt 2 and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

Then I swapped Flashpoint for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Collectors Edition, but I had to pay an extra $15 to make up the difference.  And I returned Dirt 2 and got myself Forza 3 Collectors.

So yeah, this is how you get $213 worth of games from $54 😛

There’s still more though.   Since DJ Hero came out I used my credit to purchase it for a friend again.  Conveniently BigW had a massive clearance sale, I quickly raided my nearest BigW store.  This is what I got:

Total cost: $82.  Haven’t seen sales like this since the 08 DSE clearance!  Traded some of those for Dirt 2, returned it for $99, and used $50 of that to pick up GTA4 Side stories.
